I was born and raised in Clanton, Alabama. I graduated from Chilton County High School in 2000 and received a softball scholarship to Southern Union State Community College. After Southern Union, I attended Auburn University and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Since then, I have received my Master’s Degree from Auburn University in Elementary Education and Instructional Leadership. I also hold an Educational Specialist degree from Troy University. I have served as a volleyball coach, softball coach, classroom teacher, intervention teacher, and reading specialist before becoming an assistant principal at Verbena in 2021.
I am married to John Sullivan, better known as Sully. We have two children, JV and Finlay. I enjoy spending time at the ballpark, football field, and the lake with my family and friends.
